Exports have gone up by just 1.56 per cent during the first 11 months of 1998-99 from $ 29,523.02 million in April-February 1997-98 to $ 29,983.06 million in April-February 1998-99.

But during February 1999, the growth rate has been more than the 11-month average at $ 2,818.44 million, 4.36 per cent higher than the $ 2,700.81 ......
