PORT dues on containers at Le Havre have come down, effective from January 1, this year.

The new prices represent a 50-per cent cut at US$5.8 per TEU (down from $11.6) and $10.1 per FEU (down from $20.3).

The dues apply to containerised imports only, as dues on containerised exports were scrapped around four years ago. The dues are collected by French customs ......
