Anti-monopoly law launched in Japan

A NEW Japanese law has been introduced to cover anti-trust immunity for ocean shipping cartels.
The revised Anti-monopoly Law came into effect last month and includes the Fair Trade Commission's (FTC) authority to demand the levying of fines as a punishment for breach of the law.
