JAPAN has sent a strongly-worded message to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation & Development (OECD) opposing a motion to scrap anti-trust immunity for shipping cartels.

According to an official from the Ministry of Transport, the message criticised the OECD's understanding of the ocean shipping business and urged reconsideration of the motion. ......
