Mitsui Engg may cut staff pay by 10%

Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding Co, one of Japan's largest shipbuilders, said it may cut the pay of its workers by 10 per cent in the year through March 2000 in a bid to trim costs amid weak demand.
