THERE continues to be considerable activity in the newbuilding sector as this week's selection of recent orders testifies.

The number of large containerships on order seems to be edging up again. China's Cosco Container lines has taken the plunge into post panamax ships in a big way with an order for seven 5,250 TEU (twenty equivalent units) ......
