KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia International Shipping Corporation Bhd (MISC) has reported a group pre-tax profit of RM893.9mil for its financial year to Dec 31, 1998, up 22.5% from previously.

Its managing director Datuk Haji Mohamed Ali Yasin said in the group's 1998 annual report that the core shipping business contributed a pre-tax profit of RM860.7mil, or 27.2% ......
