L'installation générera une centaine d'emplois. A cela s'ajouterait un autre investissement dans l'implantation d'un centre de distribution de biens de consommation à Bangkok.

    Le groupe britannique Rentokil Initial et SNCF Participations (groupe ferroviaire français) ont signé un protocole d'accord concernant la société française de transport combiné rail/route Rouch Intermodal. Cette dernière, jusqu'alors filiale de Rentokil Initial, doit ainsi entrer dans le giron de la SEGI, filiale de SNCF Participations. Par ailleurs, le groupe britannique cherche un acquéreur pour la société United Savam, une autre de ses filiales françaises.
  • Les ports du St-Laurent confrontés à d'importants défis
    Le Saint Laurent a assurément une vocation stratégique importante en tant que voie de communication avec l'hinterland québécois et du Canada, avec les Grands Lacs, avec le Nord-Ouest et le Midwest américain. Le CA total des entreprises opérant dans les secteurs maritimes et portuaires concernés s'établit à 3,1 mia. de dollars. Elles génèrent plus de 26.000 emplois directs et indirects, ceci pour une masse salariale d'un milliard de dollars. Pour les gouvernements du Québec et du Canada les revenus fiscaux et parafiscaux annuels qui découlent de ces activités représentent respectivement 204,6 et 140,7 mio. de dollars.
  • Anvers: la SNCB prévoit quatre faisceaux pour la desserte du Deurganckdok
    Dans le cadre des développements attendus à la Rive gauche du port d'Anvers, la SNCB prévoit d'importants travaux d'extension de son réseau et de sa capacité. La question fondamentale encore à trancher est toutefois celle de la liaison avec la Rive droite, la gare de formation d'Anvers-Nord et son Main Hub.
