Job fears for shipyard workers

Belfast's Harland and Wolff shipyard has issued redundancy notices to more than 1,700 employees amid fears it may not secure the contract to build the world's largest liner. Management at the shipyard issued 90-day protective notice to the entire workforce on Wednesday afternoon. A total of 1,745 workers are employed at the yard. The company currently has ......
