Britain's Railtrack faces record £70m fine

By Juliette Jowit, Transport Correspondent, in London Railtrack, private sector operator of Britain's rail network, will this week reveal that it is set to miss its performance improvement target for the second year running.
This will leaving Railtrack facing a possible £70m ($102m) fine - by far the biggest in UK corporate history.
