Salalah 'closing in' on Dubai ports

THE Port of Salalah, Oman, is closing in on its larger competitor in Dubai, Jebel Ali which reported last year's container movements of 2.84 million TEU (twenty-feet equivalent units), of which 1.4 million were transhipped, according to a report of The Economist Intelligence Unit.
