2 Airlines Make Deal in Attempt to End Their Antitrust Trial

Days into what was shaping up as a nasty antitrust trial, Northwest Airlines and Continental Airlines announced a tentative settlement yesterday in which Continental will buy back the controlling stake held by Northwest for $450 million.
