Trucker Strike Disrupts Port of Montreal

MONTREAL, Nov. 14 - It may be two weeks before operations return to normal at the Port of Montreal because of disruptions caused by a truckers' strike, a port spokesman said today.
Up to 13,000 containers were piled up in the port at the height of the strike, which started on Oct. 23. The backlog was down to 5,000 this afternoon, the port said. ...... Read more on The New York Times
