Company Hires Gurkhas to Guard Containers at Dar

FORMER BRITISH Army Gurkhas have been employed to provide security at Dar es Salaam port.
The combat-ready teams of four to eight men armed with guns and kukris (short, broad bladed knives) have been hired by the Tanzanian International Container Terminal Services (TICTS). The Gurkhas will also use terrier dogs
