Plan to divest 40 pc in SCI being finalised

The Department of Disinvestment (DoD) is finalising the strategy for disinvestment of 40 per cent government equity from the public sector Shipping Corporation of India (SCI).

Sources in the Ministry of Shipping said a move towards this is expected at the behest of the Union Minister for Shipping, Mr Arun Jaitley soon.
