'Service tax on port services likely from next week'- DG of Service Tax

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has sought certain clarifications from its department regarding the levy of service tax on port services and its implications.

This was revealed here by Mr M. G. Venugopalan, Director General of Service Tax, Mumbai, at an interactive meeting organised by the Indian Merchants' Chamber (IMC) here today (Thursday).
