JOHOR BARU - Nine shipyard workers were killed in an explosion aboard a cargo vessel that caught fire in Pasir Gudang yesterday, officials said.

The merchant ship was under repair at the Malaysian Shipyard and Engineering (MSE) Sdn Bhd facility when the explosion occurred at about 10 am, causing a fire.
