Early WTO entry will avoid trade row with US

China will be admitted to the World Trade Organisation by May, according to the global trade body's incoming chief Supachai Panitchpakdi.
He predicted yesterday that Beijing would try to wrap up its prolonged membership negotiations to avoid a potentially difficult vote on trade relations in the United States Congress.
