Umbrella body for ports to be ready by next year

SUBANG JAYA: The Malaysian Port Commission (MPC), an umbrella body to oversee port planning, will be ready by next year, said Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik.

He said the MPC would prioritise planning, development of ports and the utilisation of funds for ports.

"We are trying to put all the ports in the country together under one umbrella. ......
