K Line et Yang Ming maintiendront deux services entre lEurope et lAsie En mars prochain, les armements K Line et Yang Ming vont lancer un service pendulaire conjoint qui remplacera un service transpacifique et un loop entre lEurope et lAsie (ainsi quévoqué précédement dans nos éditions du 2/11 et 6/12/2001). Une flotte de dix-huit porte-containers de 5.500 TEU animera ce service, dont la rotation exacte fait encore lobjet de discussions. Les deux armements sengagent pour linstant dans une phase de transition dune durée dun trimestre, qui a débuté en décembre et qui consiste à fusionner deux services hebdomadaires, celui de Yang Ming entre lEurope et lAsie et celui de K Line entre lEurope et le Japon, en un seul service hebdomadaire animé par huit PC rapides (filant 25 noeuds) de 5.500 TEU ayant une capacité reefer de 500 TEU. Ce dernier service a un caractère provisoire.
