    Selon les chiffres de Voies Navigables de France (VNF) et du Service de la Navigation de Strasbourg, le trafic de marchandises sur le Rhin franco-allemand à hauteur des écluses de Gambsheim a représenté un volume global de 24,937 millions de tonnes l’année dernière, ce qui constitue une baisse de 3% par rapport à l’année record 2000. Les ports rhénans français que sont Strasbourg, Colmar et Mulhouse, ont perdu 9% en volume.
