Busy Nagoya port surpasses Tokyo and Yokohama

NAGOYA (Kyodo) Nagoya's port was the busiest in Japan in 2001, due largely to record numbers of imports and automobile exports, according to data released this week by the Nagoya Customs Office.
It is the first time that Nagoya port has handled more goods than the ports in Tokyo and Yokohama.
