China opens door to foreign investment in airports

SHANGHAI, Wed: China is opening its aviation infrastructure sector to attract domestic and foreign money into airports as it hunts for ways to pay for an ambitious industry overhaul.
The goal: 237 airports by 2010. The cost: 110 billion yuan, or about US$13.3 billion (US$1 = RM3.80), just for the period up to 2005.
