IN A move aimed at exploiting the strategic advantage offered by Port Klang in the regional port system, P&O Nedlloyd has moved to make Port Klang as its transhipment hub.
The managing director of P&O Nedlloyd M.A Sdn Bhd, Patrick Lim, said cargoes destined for New Zealand from the Indian sub-continent and West Asia and vice versa are currently being transhipped via Port Klang.
The move also follows the critical mass offered by the increasing volume of cargo in the direct trade between Malaysia and New Zealand
