P&O Ports takes issue to apex Court; hearing today - Bar on bidding for 2nd JNP box terminal

P&O Ports, the private container terminal operator at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNP), has moved the Supreme Court challenging the Bombay High Court order upholding the JNPT's decision to bar P&O Ports from bidding for a second terminal at the Port.

The appeal before the Supreme Court will come up for hearing for admission on May 5.

The Rs 900-crore project envisages conversion of the Port's bulk berth into a modern container terminal on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis ......
