A NORWEGIAN shipping company that owned the cruise liner where an explosion killed seven Filipinos could transfer a damage suit against the firm to the Philippines for settlement, a Philippine labor official said.
Lawyer Tess Lora, officer-in-charge of all labor cases involving overseas Filipino workers at the National Labor Relations Commission, told INQ7.net that the Norwegian Cruise Lines was correct in its plan to appeal before a Miami federal judge the complaints filed against the shipping firm to the Philippines
