KARACHI, Pakistan: Aug 23 (PNS) - Oil spill from Tasman Spirit, the Greek ship grounded near Karachi Port, was begun again on Friday as the back portion of the ship went further down. Oil began to spill towards the port and beach.
Meanwhile the oil extraction work remains suspended on Friday as the relief ship could not reach near to the stranded oil tanker. The tanker, which was carrying 67,000 tonnes of crude oil, grounded on July 28 near the Karachi coastal area and broke apart when the tide changed on August 14
