CWT uncovers $2m fraud at subsidiary

IMPACT ON GROUP PROFIT BEING ASSESSED


A ROGUE employee of a Malaysian subsidiary of logistics provider CWT Distribution has siphoned off almost $2 million from the company.

The act has prompted the mainboard-listed company to seek outside help to determine the extent of the impact on group profit for last year.

CWT, itself a unit of port operator PSA Corp, posted a net profit of $4.6 million for the year ended Dec 31 ......
