BA chief's comments on a possible union come days after airline rivals Air France and KLM say they are merging
MADRID - Days after Air France and KLM said they would merge, surpassing British Airways (BA) as Europe's biggest airline, Mr Rod Eddington, BA's chief executive, said in a newspaper interview published on Sunday that his company might merge with Iberia Airlines of Spain.
'Iberia and British Airways, in many ways, are natural partners in Europe,' he said in the interview with leading Spanish daily El Pais
