SHIPPING and marine-sector stocks, buoyed higher by a wave of positive newsflow, hit 12-month peaks yesterday.

Among the movers were Labroy Marine and Samudera Shipping, which climbed 12.4 per cent and 12 per cent respectively.

Pacing them higher were Singapore Shipping Corp - formerly known as Hai Sun Hup - and Neptune Orient Lines (NOL), which rose by 8.6 per cent and 6.4 per cent respectively ......
