NEW YORK - The North American cruise market will grow 8.1 percent this year, with the capacity to carry 9.2 million passengers and an estimated $12.9 billion in sales revenue, according to the just-published Cruise Industry News Annual 2003. But next year will be the true record-breaker, marking the largest year-over-year increase in passenger capacity of the past decade, as North American operators bring yet another 1.1 million beds into service, the publication adds ......
