Brunei seeks global partner for port

SINGAPORE - Brunei launched a global campaign to find a partner for its planned deep-water port, which is a major plank in the tiny Asian nation's nascent economic diversification plan.

The Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) announced it had hired international consultancy firm Halcrow to find companies who are able to build and manage the port, which the government wants to start operating by 2008 ......
