Mumbai Port handles highest monthly throughput of 2.82 m tonnes in Jan.

MUMBAI Port has achieved the highest monthly throughput in the financial year 2003-04 by handling 2.82 million tonnes in January against the target of 2.16 million tonnes set by the Union Ministry of Shipping, according to a press note released by the Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) here.

The latest performance improves upon the target by 30.55 per cent ......
