NEW DELHI, JULY 19: Morocco will be approaching Indian shipping companies for setting up a permanent shipping line between Casablanca and Mumbai. The two countries have a maritime agreement in place but the link is mainly confined to tanker and bulk carriers. Liner service involves shipping of containerised cargo.
India and Morocco have $392 million bilateral trade. Speaking to FE, Moroccan ambassador to India Mohammad Louafa said, "We want to have a permanent liner service between the two countries. This shipping line will be important for boosting the Indo-Moroccan trade."
