Container ports in the Gulf set on expansion path

DUBAI - Colossal surge in global trade and business activities in the UAE and the Gulf region have increased demand for container ports in the Gulf, said a Dubai-based maritime expert.

He said, "Higher demand for oil-based export products, aluminum and other products could generate higher loaded TEU exports in the future and further reduce dependence on transshipment traffic." ......
