2 ships collide in S'pore waters, despite warnings

TWO ships collided early yesterday morning in Singapore waters, despite twice receiving warnings from the maritime authorities here.

The warnings were sent, the second time, six minutes before the incident.

As a result of the accident with bulk carrier MV Heng Shan, a fire broke out on the much smaller container ship MV MSC Lucia, but the crew managed to put it out immediately ......
