The 110 companies that bidded in the expression of interest in the government planned port concessioning programme would know their fate by September when winners would be disclosed in an open and transparent process, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Chief Adebayo Sarumi, has said.

Sarumi who disclosed this at a retreat organised by the House Committee on Marine Transport to intimate its members on the operations of the maritime sector, said contrary to the belief that operators in the international scene may not be interested in port concessioning process, the response from Expression of Interest (EOI) has proven otherwise ......
