Chennai Port cargo traffic posts robust growth

Chennai Port has exceeded its cargo handling target for the financial year 2004-05 by 8.5 per cent till December 27, 2004, according to a senior port official.

He said the port handled 30.983 million tonnes of cargo during the 9-month period, as against the target of 28.533 million tonnes set for the period ......
