AHMEDABAD, JAN 18: The Directorate General of Shipping and the surface transport ministry are finalising the national maritime policy and will announce the national maritime development programme for major and minor ports across the country.

The Centre has decided to spend $10 billion from its foreign exchange reserves for the development of container terminals at ports. These initiatives were made at the recently concluded Vibrant Gujarat Global Investor's summit in Gujarat ......
