NEW DELHI, FEB 21: The Budget for 2005-06 is likely to impose a new cess of 5% on cargo-handling to garner additional resources for modernisation of ports.

"Finance minister P Chidambaram is likely to consider the proposal in the Budget for the 5% cess with a view to improving the infrastructure," official sources told PTI here on Monday ......
