DUBAI - Abu Dhabi's Mina Zayed is currently upgrading its container terminal facilities by adding two more berths to the existing four in a bid to capture more direct box business into the port.
According to Capt A. W. Al Diwani, consultant for marine affairs, Mina Zayed Seaport Authority, the construction of two 650 metres long container berths is part of the 12-year $60 million expansion plan of Mina Zayed undertaken by the Abu Dhabi Sea Port Authority in 1998
