SEAC INCREASES THE SPECIAL EQUIPMENT SURCHARGES
Are applicable to Open Tops, Open Sides, Gondolas and Flat Rack containers

The Memberlines of the South Europe American Conference wish to advise their clientele that they are compelled to increase the special equipment surcharges applicable to Open Tops, Open Sides, Gondolas and Flat Rack containers.

The increased surcharges will be effective on June 1st, when they become:

USD 750 per 20' container and

USD 1000 per 40' and 45' containers.

The new levels will better reflect the cost differential thet this type of equipment represent for the carriers in terms of investment, positioning, longer turnarounds, etc.
