Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl and Uiltrasporti: not to a tax for the companies that transport container from and for the port of Genoa



In recent days deputy mayor of Genoa, Paolo Pissarello, it had advanced the hypothesis to institute a tax for all the companies that transport container from and for the port of Genoa. A proposal that strongly is criticized by the enterprises and the organizations of the road haulage. With these last ones they agree the representatives of the Filt-Cgil unions, Fit-Cisl and Uiltrasporti of the field goods of Genoa.

"Afforded that: not we are so self-righteous to imagine that a our thought can make to change to the intentions of a civic administration neither tantomeno a hypothesis of reform of law of the State - they confirm today in a note Marco Gallo-Leonardo Cafuoti (Filt-Cgil), Alberto Gila (Fit-Cisl) and Bruno Costa (Uiltrasporti) - us seems however right to express our contrary opinion with respect to how much declaring from vice mayor dottor Pissarello on the will to institute a tax for all the companies that transport container in the port of Genoa".

"We want to remember - the representatives of the unions explain - than also the field of the transport container has not remained free from the serious crisis that it invests by now today give beyond two years the world of work and in spite of a substantial increase of the traffics regarding 2009, the positive data of the years are still very far precedence. Also in this field we have had to resort for many companies to the activation of social shocks-absorber, as the redundancy fund in exception or mobility. In many others in order to safeguard the occupational levels we have had to make agreements in order to pull down the costs of labor sometimes diminishing the salary and wage also of 20%. After 27 months of contractual vacation and three days of national strike of the field, in date 19 Decembers 2010 are renewed the CCNL with a gross increase of 134 euros that will go operatively on December 1°, 2012. I renew among other things that in the current context still it is not signed by all the datoriali associations".

"By virtue of all this and considering that today the hypothesis of the law on the minimal rates of safeguard on the transport of the goods to kilometer, is not still implementing, consequently runs rampant the free competition that leaves space the widest deregulation - the representatives of Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl emphasize and Uiltrasporti - such proposal us seems an unsuitable provocation".

"Wishing that another fatal blow to a strategic field is not given to us, economic and occupational so important for Genoa and - they conclude - we not only ask a second thought and we invite the civic administration to send a message to person in charge clearly, in doing so as that the first possible law is applied. If this umpteenth tax to the field were leaned to the companies, we will give our maximum support to the transport enterprises".
