This year the crocieristico group American Royal Caribbean Cruises will altogether employ 18 ships in Europe, of which 11 under the standards of Royal Caribbean International, five of Celebrity Cruises and two of Azamara Cruises Club. Ben 17 ships of the group (regarding 13 in 2010) will call in Italy, nation where the group will increase also the departures that in the 2011 will be realized by eight ships against five in 2010.

In the 2011 the three binoculars of the Voyager class will sail from Italy four ships of Royal Caribbean International (: Voyager of the Seas from Venice, Mariner of the Seas from Civitavecchia/Genoa, Navigator of the Seas from Civitavecchia and Splendour of the Seas from Venice), two ships of Celebrity Cruises (Celebrity Equinox and Celebrity Silhouette, future flagship of the Solstice class that will be inaugurated on 23 July in Italy, both from Civitavecchia) and two ships of the Azamara fleet Club Cruises (Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest from Civitavecchia/Venice).

Altogether in season 2011 they will be the 19 ports of port of call in Italy for the fleets Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises Club, against the 17 of 2010, for a total of 689 ports of call regarding the 497 last year. This year the crocieristico group previews to realize in Italy a handling of beyond 2.200.000 passengers, with an increment of 60%. The first port of port of call will remain Civitavecchia, continuation from Venice, Livorno and Naples.

In particular, the number of ports of call in the Italian ports will be the following one: Civitavecchia 193; Venice 113; Livorno 91; Naples 82; Messina 44; Palermo 27; Ravenna 25; Bari 21; Cagliari 20; La Spezia 17; Sorrento 15; Salerno 12; Genoa 8; Portofino 7; Amalfi 4; Trieste 2; Portoferraio 2. Moreover the ports of call of Capri will enter in the programming (5) and Santa Margherita (1), while they will double regarding the 2010 ports of call in Sicily and in Campania and Bari it will grow quite of 200%.

It embarks to Genoa they will be seven, from on 23 July on September 3, 2011, and will enliven on the city a total of beyond 23.000 embarking, disembarking passengers between and in transit, with estimated inducing of beyond a million euro.

Between the innovations of the season 2011 figure Voyager of the Seas, in departure from Venice for cruises of seven nights in the Mediterranean oriental, from May to October. The ship will place side by side Splendour of the Seas that will continue to always navigate in the islands Greche and Turkey with cruises of 10 and 11 nights in departure from Venice.
