Lorenzo Selva is confirmed as the first and only Italian boating industry entrepreneur to fill the role of President of ICOM, an association founded in 1965 which aims to represent the national sailing federations and provide a single voice of the boating industry in the world .
Lorenzo Selva was born in Monza in 1960, is married and has five children. National Union of Shipyards and Nautical and Related Industries (UCINA) holds the post of Director since 1996 and vice president since 2002. Selva is president and CEO of the Forest Spa for over 50 years producing marine engines with an attention to quality and technological development, making the company a leader in European boating market.
