On 10 and 11 November next to be held in Genoa, the third edition of Port & ShippingTech, the international forum on technology innovation for competitive and sustainable development of port logistics and shipping. The meetings, which last year recorded more than a thousand participants and 120 speakers, will be held at the Congress Centre of the Old Port.
The conference will be attended by many representatives of the shipping conferences that will take in five specialist to address four main themes: sustainable and competitive logistics: policies, projects and technologies for the development of city logistics and sustainable mobility in the ports; Green Shipping Summit : projects and technologies to promote a competitive and environmentally sustainable maritime transport, traffic evolution: on new market areas for the National Maritime and port system; Green Ports: new energy and sustainability for ports, harbors and coastal cities.
Conference events will be added to the thematic expert workshops and an exhibition area. The third edition of Port & ShippingTech will be enriched also by parallel events as a Brokerage Event, or by a series of meetings B2B companies, organized by Unioncamere Liguria, which will aim to establish a first contact for activation of new collaborations.
Another new feature will then be a test track for electric vehicles and low emissions, which will allow forum participants to test the vehicles, and an Executive Hub, or informal opportunities for discussion during which participants will gather at the dinner and then go meetings with specialists in restricted areas.
The event, organized by ClikUtility, has promoted the Liguria Region, the Port Authority, Province, Municipality and Chamber of Commerce of Genoa, with the collaboration of leading companies in the sector as Assoporti, Confitarma, Ligurian Ports.
