The Japanese shipping group Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) announced today that it has reviewed the planned closure of the first half of the financial year 2011, a period that ends today. Now the group plans to close the half with a net loss of 17 billion yen (221 million dollars) compared with the previous forecast of a net income of one billion yen made just two months ago.
MOL plans to close the period April 1 - Sept. 30 this year with an operating profit of negative value for nine billion yen compared to the previous expectation of a positive operating result for three billion yen.
In terms of revenues on Japanese shipping group plans to score 725 billion yen the previous forecast of 720 billion yen.
