Trasportounito is ready to new actions of protest in lack of concrete answers from the government



The undersecretary to the Transports, Guido Improta, has convened for next 26 October an encounter with the representatives of the haulers with the objective to find answers to the problems that weigh on the category. From part its Trasportounito does not hide to nourish little hopes on a positive outcome of the reunion: "we attend - the president of the trade-union association has explained, Franco Pensiero - the fixed encounter with the Improta undersecretary, at the end of the month of October, but the hopes to obtain turned out tangible are, to light of the recent experiences, indeed insufficient".

The encounter on 26 October will see already ready Trasportounito to start new sets in action of protest: next saturday, in fact, to the hours 9,30 to the Center Novotel conferences to Genoa will hold the assembly of the association, that it will be called to confirm the deliberation assumed from the national council with respect to the start of the new actions of protest. Moreover the assembly will put also to point the new platform of emergency assertions that will be introduced the government and that – has emphasized the association - the last resort represents indeed.

While, in forecast of the saturday assembly, Trasportounito has defined the following "manifesto" in which it anticipate to the government some assertions of own associates:
Caro Presidente Monti, we are 120,000 enterprises and we occupy 1 million operators (beyond induced), we produce 7% of the GDP national and operate in order to deliver 90% of the produced ones that the infrastructural limits of our Country arrive in the houses of the Italian nationals, enduring and satisfying the lack of forms transport alternatives. We receive in exchange the continuous increase of the Octrois on the diesel oil, the lacked control on the speculations Freeways and Assurances, put up with long waits (not paid), delayed or lacked payments and the committenza it does not recognize us not even the Operating costs. In order to compete with the irregular ones (than no firm one), we travel under cost and we give to the committenza also the facilities that we receive from the State. L. 127/2010 had to recognize costs minimums of exercise to a market of the transports restricted and free: but to we it has arrived alone confusion, confrontation with the committenza and perhaps also incongruità on the field studies. We still make to travel the trucks in order to maintain the engagements assumed with the drivers and because to the banks it does not convene it stuffed to close. Little provisions of Law, corrective of the field norm would be enough that does not work, in order to give again order and safety to fundamental an economic field for the economy of the Country, than it cannot completely remain deregolamentato. We ask with urgency that the competent organs control and endorse the irregular committenza, than not wage in the terms of law and it does not recognize the costs minimums of exercise.
