Last year the traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of Amburgo is diminished of 1.0% attesting itself to the 130,9 million one tons regarding 132,2 million tons totaled in 2011. The goods in import is dropped of 3.0% to 73,9 million tons, while those in export are increased of 1.9% the 57,1 million one to tons.

In the 2012 German port it has enlivened altogether 39,4 million tons of bulk, with a bending of 0.4% on the year precedence, of which 19,1 million tons of cargos enlivened with bucket (- 1.6%), 6,2 million tons of dusty bulk (- 0.3%) and 14,1 million tons of liquid bulk (+1.1%). The total of the bulk in export is piled to 9,9 million tons (+4.6%) and that of the bulk in import to 29,5 million tons (- 2.0%).

The goods several has been attested to a total of 91,5 million tons, an inferior volume of 1.2% regarding that enlivened in 2011. The traffic of the container has been pairs to 8,9 million teu, with a decrease of 1.7% on 2011, of which 7,6 million container full (+0.2%) and 1,2 million container empty (- 12.1%). Altogether the container full to the disembarkation and the boarding both to 3,8 million have been pairs teu, with an increment of 4.4% on the container full in export in 2011 and with a contraction of 3.6% on the container full in import in 2011.

Last year the containerized trade of the German port with Asia, that it represents 53.3% of the total, has been pairs to 4,7 million teu, with an sensitive decrease of 8.6% regarding 2011. In increase, instead, the traffics with the other continental markets: that with the remainder of Europe has recorded a progression of 6.1% to 2,7 million teu and the traffic with the Americas has totaled 1,1 million teu respect to a million teu in 2011; in increase also the volumes with Africa, that they are gone up of 12.8% to 238 thousand teu, so as those with Australia/Oceania, that they are piled to 43 thousand teu (+15.8%).

Between main the partner commercial of the port of Amburgo in the segment of the containerized traffics, in the 2012 traffic with China it has recorded a reduction of 12.3% coming down to 2,6 million teu, while the traffic with Russia has grown of 13.5%; in bending (- 2.2%) also the traffic with Singapore, while the containerized volumes with the USA have grown of 28.1% and those with South Korea are increased of 7.0%.

The goods conventional is piled to altogether 2,1 million tons (- 15.6%), of which 1,4 million tons in export (+0.1%) and 730 thousand tons in import (- 34.6%).
