In June the port of Ravenna has established the own new record of traffic salary of the container



The Harbour Authority of Ravenna has announced that in the first half of the 2013 traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of call ravennate it has recorded an increase of 2.8% regarding the same period last year. In particular, it disembarks to it have been pairs to 9,5 million tons (+1.2%) while it embarks to it are piled to 1,6 million tons (+13.1%).

Regarding specifically the month of june 2013, the traffic has been of 1.950.813 tons, advanced almost 60,000 tons (+3.1%) regarding june 2012. This - it has evidenced the harbour agency - against Istat data from which it turns out that the foreign trade for Italy, in the first five months of 2013, is diminished in terms of volumes of 1.6% for exports (- 4.7% Countries EU, +2.4% extra Countries EU) and of 6.4% for the imports (- 4.5% Countries EU, -8,7% extra Countries EU).

The harbour authority has explained that in the first semester of this year the prosecuzione of unitizzate the extremely positive trend of the goods has been evidenced: the goods in container has grown of 118 thousand tons (+10.1%), while those on rotabili are passed by 256 thousand to 491 thousand tons, totaling an increase pairs to 234 thousand tons (+91.0%). An light contraction is recorded for cargo handling sand banks and of the liquid bulk, first down of 13 thousand tons (- 0.2%), second of 38 thousand the tons (- 1.7%). Between the goods sand banks the more meaningful increment percentage (+68.5%) has been that of the agricultural produced ones and in particular of the corn. In increase also produced metalworkers (+3.9%), passed from 2,29 2,38 million to tons, for which an increase of the arrivals from the port of Taranto has been recorded after the difficulties of supplying of the slid months. Down regarding the year precedence the materials from construction (- 8.3%), but - have specified the harbour agency - if the trend is considered salary from the beginning of the year has found constant increments, and to increase they are above all the raw materials for the ceramics for which in June a +14.0% regarding May have been found. For the liquid bulk, the chemical ones are diminished of 11.7%, while the oil produced ones have turned out down of 1.8%. In controtendenza the liquid alimentary commodities that, graces to an increase of import of oils the vegetables, have recorded a +10.9%.

Very positive in the first semester of 2013 handling of the container - +11.1% regarding last year - thanks to the recorded positive trend from the beginning of the year, but also to the optimal result of june in which I have been counted 24,421 teu, the new record salary recorded in the port of Ravenna. In particular, in the six months, the increase has been of 5.976 teu for full loads (+7.5%) and of 5.363 teu for empty (+23.3%).

Month record, june 2013, also for handling trailer with beyond 5.000 enlivened pieces. In the six months on the Ravenna-Catania line the traffic CIN/Tirrenia and Grimaldi has been altogether of 18.398 pieces against 10,919 last year (+68.5%) to which they join to those of the new Ravenna-Brindisi draft that they have been 4.194. In total the number of the trailer in the first semester has been of 22.972 pieces (+105.5%), more of the double quantity regarding the 11,177 last year.

Very positive also the relative result to the traffic of new motors vehicle, than by 7.820 pieces last year, is passed to 12.706 (+62.5%).
